NEWS & NOTES - Mike Coburn

We, at Team FOOTPRINTZ, would like to acknowledge the career of Mike Coburn. Mike, who recently finished a solid career at Rutgers University, is scheduled to graduate from the New Brunswick campus this upcoming spring.

Mike finished the 2010-2011 season as the Scarlet Knights leader in assists (4.2 per game), minutes played (33 per game) and fourth in scoring (8.8 per game).

Coburn, as a student at Mt. Vernon high school, teamed up with NYS Mr. Basketball and fellow Scarlet Knight Jonathan Mitchell to lead the Westchester high school to the NY State title. As a "Knight", he finished his scholastic career as the 19th ranked PG - according to Scout.com and according to Hoop Group as the 77th overall ranked recruit (nationally).

Mike, a member of the ALL Big East All Academic Team, finished his athletic career with 866 points, 367 assists and competed in 127 games while on the New Jersey Campus.
