In an era of high flying dunks and 'off the chart' athletic ability, basketball, as a whole, has changed. In the "Golden Era" of the NBA - shooting - across the board- was emphasized compared to today's game where specialization is the trend, players lack basic fundamental skills i.e. efficient shooting, post moves, box outs and passing.
To address some of the game's ills, on September 8th and September 15th, we, at Team FOOTPRINTZ - in association with Latitude Sports Clubs, will bring an unique basketball camp to Methuen, MA. While many "SKILL" camps are "GAME" based our camp will focus on "Old Fashion" fundamental development. Our two sessions (3 hours each) will devote the entire time to fundamental skill development- i.e. Dribbling, Ball-Handling, Agility, Passing, Shooting as well as Basketball IQ.
