FOOTPRINTZ Elite Basketball Training

Phew...It's been awhile since we provided any updates on the program...Where do we begin?...First off, THANK YOU TO ALL THE PLAYERS (see below of the roster) that helped lead our Pro/Am team to 4-1 regular season record and into the semi finals of Funsport Inc.'s FIREBALL tournament only to lose a tough game to the eventual champion (X-MEN). Our 35 and older Team @Medger Evers College FINALLY hit it's stride. After stumbling into the playoffs, the team began to gain momentum and defeated NYC powerhouse "T.N.P". As the next round approaches, the team is confident a "CHIP run is on the horizon". (see below of the roster)

On the training side, Team FOOTPRINTZ' skills instructor Taliek Brown has spent the past three months in China working with several elite Chinese players. As commissoned by coaches of CBA (Chinese Basketball Association), Taliek has focused his training on assisting the players in further increasing their ball handling skills and overall guard play - which include decision making skills(basketball IQ), pick n roll situations and leadership.

In addition, lead skils instructor Mark Williams has been busy increasing players' "TOOL BOX".

Rising freshman Cheyenne Nettleton who attended Bobby Hurley's basketball camp sponsored by Hoop Group, was recently "moved up" and participated in the 11th/12th grade divison and earned ALL STAR recognition.

Ryan Yearwood, a senior at St. John's Prep (Queens, NY), who has been working with Team FOOTPRINTZ for the past three months, recently visited Marist College, Fairfield University and garnered interest from many northeast colleges. The Yearwood family, fully excepts the list to grow after July - which is centered around the NCAA's "live period"

David "Pepe" Joseph, who just completed his high school career (NIA Prep), exploded on the NYC streetball scene with his stellar performances at Hoops in the Sun (BX, NY) and Fireball (NYC, NY). David, a 8 month trainee is currently "taking unofficial visits" as well as fielding professional offers.

Nicole Michael, fresh off her professional stint in Spain, recently signed to play in Italy with the GEA MAGAZZINI ALCAMO basketball team, who will join the Italian Serie A1 league for the 2011-2012 season.

In essence, Team FOOTPRINTZ has had a busy and fun filled spring thus far!!!!...
