PRESS RELEASE

Newark, NJ - November 28, 2009

In an effort to assist the Jersey Express in preparation for their upcoming ABA season, Team FOOTPRINTZ traveled to Newark , NJ to battle the New Jersey based team.

Team FOOTPRINTZ, a year round basketball training program that along with several other programs aim to further assist, in particular, students ranging from 8-18 in their overall development, was represented by a group of adult players who were 'handpicked' by Executive Director Mark Williams to challenge the Express. Led by Taliek Brown of the University of Connecticut, Duane Woodard of Boston College, Michael Campbell of NIKE Battleground fame, who along with Karim Smith graduated from Long Island University, Iona College's Marv McCullough - who recently began his 'tour' with the Harlem Globetrotters, and Josiah Austin of Globe Technical College.

The Jersey Express team consisting of mostly NJ players, most notably Jordan Fowler, Elijah Thorpe and Mark Jerell Wright were out dueled by the New York based team 114-110.

"It was fun, they (NJ) played hard and despite us only having 6 players, due to circumstances beyond our control, our conditioning was better than I expected. I wish the Express nothing but the best of luck this year," says Coach Williams...
