FOOTPRINTZ Elite Basketball Training

this past thursday, members of team footprintz basketball academy (TFBA) competed in the CONTINENTAL AIRLINES - Fly To the Garden 3 on 3 basketball tournament...as the defending champions, many expected TFBA to advance to the final four...PRESSURE...!...although, many felt that way, several teams took offense to such an expectation...TFBA started it's pool play behind the 8 ball with only two players available (mark williams and trever holland) TFBA faced and beat a gutty and "hard nosed" team...TFBA then faced a high energy and athletic team...TFBA, with all it's players available, lost in a hard fought game...TFBA finished it's opening round(s) with two straight victories finishing 3-1 headed into the playoffs...in the playoffs, TFBA defeated a team made of several division 1 players in what can be considered a "blow out"...setting the stage for a match up with TEAM BARUCH...TEAM BARUCH, lead by machli joseph and TFBA and big apple basketball's jason curry, stood in TFBA's attempt to make it back to MSG and an opportunity to win the tournament...in a defensive focused game TFBA out scored TEAM BARUCH 11-5...in winning the game, TFBA will face john wiley - two time tourney winner - in the semi final game at "the most famous arena in the world" on april 16, 2007...stay tuned...
