for the past three months, team footprintz basketball academy (TFBA) participated in the BROTHER'S UNITED BASKETBALL LEAGUE of riverbank state park...TFBA fielded a team comprised of college standouts (of all levels) some of which can be considered "professionals" players ...throughout the season it became obvious that, the team's style of play coupled with it's KNOWN yet UNKNOWN "pieces", this team would create a buzz throughout uptown and particular harlem, usa...

the team ended the regular season 5-2, losing both games by a total of 4 points meanwhile a long the way beating regional power programs such as dominican power, all 4 one, and money inc...as the team success mounted so did the team and individual records...the team which consisted of mark williams (st.joseph - VT), ed lacayo (lehigh), bryan matthew (iona), dan giolemboski, (iona), charles lott (james madison), jason curry (st.michael's - VT), jackson collins (amherst), bobby willis (lehigh), julian bah (trinity college - CT), ian mcginnis (dartmouth), ross burns (UMASS) and coached by tom mcdonald lead the league in scoring average and largest margin of victory...in addition, bryan matthew's 54 points versus dominican power was the league's highest point total since the league's inception, charles lott's average of 25 points and 10 rebounds, and dan giolemboski league leading 3 point shooting propelled TFBA into the playoffs...

headed into the playoffs, TFBA faced money inc. - a team that TFBA had beat earlier in the year...early in the game, behind the strong play of bryan matthew and charles lott ,TFBA took a 7 point lead into halftime...after the break, money inc. "turned the tables" and beat TFBA by 4 points...in a hard fought game that bordered on an instant classic...
