Collins to play in Germany
Coleman Collins, a graduate of Virginia Technical University, has signed with ENBW Ludwigsburg of Germany’s Bundesliga division. While in Germany, he will compete against several players who gained a great deal of fame while playing basketball in the America on the college level. Players such as: Marcus Taylor, Jason Gardner, Curtis Sumpter, Ed Nelson, Kyle Visser, Luke Schenscher, Dijon Thompson, and Michael Bradley.
Coleman, the brother of Team footprintz’ “General” Jackson Collins, is a product of the tough ACC league where he as a junior averaged a double - double in points and rebounds. In addition, he led the NBA pre-draft camp (Orlando) in scoring.
“Coleman is a major asset for our program” says Mark Williams, Captain of Team footprintz. “He will be a major force for us in the future. He, coupled with our current roster of front court players will have a major impact on the city. We, as a team, are extremely happy with his progress and wish him the best in Germany”.
