"GROWING PAINS": IPHONE / ANDROID APP

In our last blog, we unveiled our online scheduling program powered by Mindbody.  In this entry we will go a step further in meeting the needs of our clients.  

Over the past 18 months, we have worked with many players through our individual sessions, group sessions, free clinics, and various camps.  Including our work with NBA players, FIBA International teams, several top European players, few semi professional teams, many NBA prospects, and top high school players.

Due to our growth (which is good), we have added several professionals to our staff and expanded our brand throughout the world, however, the biggest addition-thus far- has been our newest mobile app.

Today's world has changed.  More and more people are "on the go" and not able to use a computer as in years past.  As a result, traditional web based companies have shifted a large portion of their business to mobile applications and Team FOOTPRINTZ is no different.

According to the Pew Internet & American Life Survey (June 2013) - their report contends that 91 percent of mobile phone owners, in America, 61% possess a smartphone.  To support this fundamental shift, cellular companies have created "4g" networks where a companies' information can be available within one or two clicks of the smartphone.  

Beginning August 15th, we will offer a new application to the public that will "piggy back" our revolutionary online scheduling program which will be used (exclusively) beginning September 1, 2013.

According to skills instructor Taliek Brown, "Our hope is to empower the client- to the point where they just need to show up to the gym. Unlike the past, in which the burden was placed on the trainee (or parent of) contacting one of us who would plug them into a session. Now, the trainee can decide which he/she is interested in & pay for it all before arriving to our site. This will allow us, the skill instructors, to opportunity to just show up and work.  It's needed and happy we are offering it to our community."

In addition, to providing the trainees the chance to control their schedule, the app will allow Team FOOTPRINTZ' staff the opportunity to communicate directly and instantaneously to the trainees as well as provide the program participants the chance to buy Team FOOTPRINTZ' packages, apparel as well as gift cards within minutes.

Ultimately, our newest addition is a byproduct of our growth, but a necessary step into the future.
